Belinda Kiely
Dr Kiely specialises in the treatment of people with breast cancer and is interested in clinical research to improve the symptoms and side effects of cancer and cancer treatment.
Dr Kiely is a medical oncologist with over 15 years of clinical experience. She is a senior lecturer at the University of Sydney, with clinical appointments at Campbelltown Hospital and Concord Hospital in Sydney.
Dr Kiely completed a fellowship in breast cancer and cancer genetics at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Melbourne and a PhD at the University of Sydney. Her thesis was titled, “Estimating and communicating prognosis in advanced cancer”.
Dr Kiely specialises in the treatment of people with breast cancer and is interested in clinical research to improve the symptoms and side effects of cancer and cancer treatment. She supervises PhD students and is a supervisor and mentor for medical oncology trainees and medical students.
Dr Kiely was a member of the Advanced Breast Cancer International Consensus panel in 2019 and 2023 to develop the guidelines for the management of advanced breast cancer.
