Christina Jang

Dr Jang achieved her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Melbourne’s Monash University in 1994. She was awarded her Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) in 2003, and her Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Melbourne University in 2008.

Her experience is very broad. She completed her undergraduate training in endocrinology at Jean Hailes Foundation, Monash Medical Centre and St Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne. She worked as a consultant endocrinologist at St Vincent’s Hospital, Melbourne and an honorary lecturer at the University of Melbourne before moving to Brisbane in 2011.

Aside from working in private practice, other current appointments include Senior Medical Staff in the Department of Endocrinology and Diabetes at the Mater Hospital, Visiting Medical Officer at the Greenslopes Private Hospital, and Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland. She is currently President-Elect of the Australasian Menopause Society.
