Chu Nguyen
Dr Chu Nguyen is a General Surgeon (FRACS), Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Sydney, and PhD graduate with a strong interest in clinical innovation and translational research.
His work focuses on improving outcomes for patients with breast cancer through the integration of novel surgical techniques, advanced imaging technologies, and artificial intelligence.
Dr Nguyen's research interests include the clinical applications of indocyanine green (ICG) in breast cancer and reconstructive surgery, prophylactic lymphaticovenous bypass during axillary lymph node dissection to reduce the risk of lymphoedema, and the development of AI-driven decision support tools.
He is also interested in leveraging AI-powered data automation and workflow optimisation to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of cancer multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings.
