Ms Naveena Nekkalapudi is a member of the Breast Cancer Trials Consumer Advisory Panel and was diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer on Christmas Eve in 2014.

Naveena has experienced both short and long-term side effects from breast cancer treatment, including nerve damage, chronic pain, cognitive impairment, the inability to work, and a weakened immune system, which led to further complications and hospitalisation.
